The all-new season of 7 Little Johnstons sees the cast members embarking on some exciting things in life. Liz Johnston and her partner, Brice Bolden, welcome their first baby together and Anna Johnston buys a house.
The TLC stars are ‘adulting’ pretty hard in season 14. When Anna showed off her home “after a long wait” and a “lot of hard work” she was over the moon. The 7 Little Johnstons star had fans equally happy for her, judging by their tweets via X (Twitter). But some are convinced her mom is “jealous.”
7 Little Johnstons’ Anna buys a house
7 Little Johnstons season 14 episode 1 sees Anna show off her new purchase after buying her first house.
The show sees Anna give her family a grand tour, guiding them around her living room, kitchen, pantry and multiple bedrooms.
The TLC star explained how her mom was her realtor but it was Anna’s dad who made sure to let cameras know he was “proud” of her achievement.
TLC star made a resolution
Anna was clearly really excited to move into her new house on 7 Little Johnstons. Her dad said: “Her New Year’s resolution, she said she wanted to buy a home this year… she did it pretty quick.”
Her brother, Alex, also said he was “really proud” of his sister for being the first homeowner of the siblings.
Jonah also called his sister a “trailblazer” and said he was “sitting back, and taking notes on what to do” as she “worked hard and saved money.”
Fans convinced Amber is ‘jealous’
Before 7 Little Johnstons season 14 kicked off fans had already created a Reddit thread discussing the “family dynamic” between Amber and her daughter, Anna.
One fan wrote: “I could be off the mark here, but I feel like Amber is jealous of Anna. It’s a vibe I have been getting.”
Another said: “I love Anna. Love that she flew the roost.”
Others took to X following episode 1, to congratulate Anna on her house purchase.
One said: “Why did Amber have to be negative at the end of Anna’s scene buying her house saying Anna can’t handle pressure? Just makes me so upset. Congratulations Anna you did a great job getting the house!”
Tweeting in the same vein, more wrote: “Amber: “Anna becomes overwhelmed when she has too many responsibilities” damn girl can you believe in your daughter for 5 minutes?? She just bought her house, be proud and stop doubting her.”
