Kris Jenner reportedly doesn’t spend one on one time with her grandchildren, according to reports. The world-famous Momager has her hands full – we all know that. But, not spending quality time with the grandkids? She’s causing total mayhem on the internet this March.
Kris Jenner was looking elegant as always as she attended the 2024 The LA Woman Luncheon. The 68-year-old is oozing class and wisdom wherever she goes and she had some tea to spill when it came to her grandkids at the Spring event.
Kris Jenner has so many grandkids
First things first, Kris Jenner really could’ve expected to have a whole load of grandkids when she had six children of her own.
Her eldest, Kourtney Kardashian, is a mom of four. Next up is Kim Kardashian, who also has four kids, and Khloé Kardashian, who has two.
Rob Kardashian Jr has one daughter, and Kylie Jenner has two kids. That leaves only one of Kris’ kids, Kendall Jenner, yet to start a family of her own.
In total, Kris has a whopping 13 grandkids to look out for, and buy Christmas, birthday, Easter presents, and more.
She ‘doesn’t spend one-on-one time’ with her grandchildren
The Kardashians are every reality TV lover’s favorite family, but Kris seems to be lifting the lid on her brood’s bond – and revealing they’re potentially not that close at all.
Fans already had their own theories swirling about the Kardashian and Jenner sisters not being close. Now, Kris Jenner is confirming she doesn’t spend one-on-one time with her grandkids.
Kris explained it’s not she doesn’t want to spend time with al 13 of her grandkids one-by-one, but she “can’t,” The Daily Mail reports.
Speaking at the Los Angeles Magazine’s The LA Woman Luncheon, Kris said: “I often say to myself that I really should be the kind of grandmother that takes my grandchild to dinner, like once a month…”
But, she said the time it would take to do that is not possible to her: “Like really get to know your grandchild and see what’s happening in school and all this stuff. And I thought if I did that, that would take half a month, just to go out to dinner with my grandkids.”
I don’t blame her for a lack of one-on-one time
Since Kris revealed her thoughts on quality time with her grandkids, some people have taken to a Reddit thread to chat about the Kardashians star.
Side-eyeing the Get Safely founder, many said “come on, Kris.”
More commented: “It’s because she’s not close to any of them so after 5 mins she needs them to occupy themselves…”
But, I really don’t blame Kris for being honest about her limits when it comes to spending time with each grandchild individually.
During her talk at the Woman’s Luncheon, she also said how “happy” it makes her getting to see a lot of her grandkids every day.
Kris was blasted by some people who said “money and fame is all she cares about.”
But, it seems quite the opposite as she and her grandchildren’s lives are very much interwoven.
Many people also took to the thread in Kris’ favor, writing: “I think it’s absurd that people think she should spend 1:1 time with each one of her grandkids every month. That’s pretty much every other day.”
And: “She stated if she did it once a month it would be too much because there are 13 of them, not that she would never have one-on-one time with them.”
Not only that, but they have lots of family gatherings and vacations – just check their Instagram profiles. They’re clearly spending time together as a full unit.
Kris’ words are a great reminder she’s only human. And, in an age of prioritizing self-care and love, kudos to the momager for knowing her limits.
