Bruno Guimaraes has just delivered a three-word message after watching incredible Newcastle United clip

Bruno Guimaraes has been involved in some incredible moments during his two years as a Newcastle United player.

The 26-year-old has been a superstar ever since his move from Lyon to Newcastle United in January 2022, which made him one of the club’s most expensive signings ever.

It quickly became clear that he was the midfielder we had been crying out for, and he has only grown in stature with each performance in black and white.

He is a world class talent in the eyes of Eddie Howe, as well as a talisman and an icon. He is lionised by the Toon Army, with Bruno Guimaraes constantly hogging the headlines with his ability.

Bruno Guimaraes has been involved in some special moments at Newcastle United

There have been so many great moments for Bruno at Newcastle. His first goal should go down in history, as he netted a backheel volley away to Southampton on what was his first start for the club.

More recently, there was the one-man show he put on at the City Ground as the Brazilian bagged a brace to hand Newcastle United a vital victory over Nottingham Forest.

His Champions League displays were outstanding, as was his Tyne Wear derby debut earlier this year. Bruno was the best player on the pitch at the Stadium of Light that day, as Eddie Howe’s side beat Sunderland 3-0.

Bruno Guimaraes’ brace against Leicester two years ago was incredible

But one of Bruno’s best moments came just a few months after his arrival, when Newcastle United took on Leicester City on April 17th 2022.

The midfielder scored at St James’ Park for the first time that day, while he also netted his second goal on Tyneside.

And it was the second goal that made this game one to remember, as Bruno capped off a blistering counterattack to hand Newcastle United a last minute winner in stoppage time.

He covered so much ground to head home a dramatic winner for Newcastle, and he has now looked back on his goal on its two-year anniversary.

The club have shared a video of the goal on X, writing: “Pandemonium. Two years ago today, Bruno Guimaraes struck late at St James’ Park.”

The celebrations were wild, and now Bruno has replied to the tweet. He wrote: “What a moment.”

That Newcastle team was a bit different to the one Howe has today

While that Newcastle team consisted of a lot of players who are still at St James’ Park right now, there were plenty who have now moved on.

Jonjo Shelvey joined Bruno in midfield, and he is now plying his trade in Turkey for Rizespor after a disastrous spell at Nottingham Forest.

Speaking of Nottingham Forest, Chris Wood was up front for the Magpies on that day.

Elsewhere, the likes of Federico Fernandez and Dwight Gayle were on the bench.
