Tottenham are preparing for another busy summer with Ange Postecoglou at the helm and one £25m signing could be on his way out.
Postecoglou will be in no mood for messing about this summer and will be looking to bring in a number of new players to supplement and improve his squad.
As part of that, Postecoglou will also need to make decisions on certain players and will see the potential for a number of exits along the way.
Reports have already suggested Giovani Lo Celso could be on his way to La Liga, while a number of other players, such as Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, could also be on their way.
And now, according to a report from Turkey, another player signed for big money could be going as well.
Galatasaray want to sign Tottenham’s Ryan Sessegnon
According to Aspor, the Turkish giants are keen on taking Sessegnon off Spurs’ hands this summer.
It’s claimed that the £25m signing from Fulham could be ready to open a new chapter in his career and is considering a move abroad to kickstart things.
Of course, Sessegnon needs to get fit to be able to get a move anywhere.
At the moment, he is injured once again and that has been the story of his entire time at Tottenham since signing.
Tottenham are unlikely to get any money for Sessegnon if they do let him go.
Indeed, previous reports have suggested the left-footer could be let go for nothing.
Breeding ground
Galatasaray has been a hot bed for players looking to rebuild their careers over the years.
Another Tottenham flop, Tanguy Ndombele, tried his arm at the Turkish side but like others, failed to impress.
Gala fans, then, will probably be wary about signing someone like Sessegnon.
For Sessegnon, there has to be something for him to aspire to. His injuries have been unfortunate and a nightmare.
If he can get fit, then a season or two abroad could well be the making of him.
