Sullivan could bring 41-yo former Hammers coach back to replace Moyes, West Ham source claims

If West Ham owner David Sullivan does decide to replace David Moyes this summer, quite who he will bring in is still very much up in the air.

It’s all turned sour for David Moyes at West Ham over the past couple of months, and David Sullivan will surely replace him when the season ends.

However, it has been claimed that no decision has been made yet on the 60-year-old’s future, and his future will only become clear when the 2023/24 campaign ends.

I think it’s quite obvious to see that the Scot’s time at the London Stadium is coming to an end. It just remains to be seen who replaces him.

Maurizio Sarri is one man being heavily linked with the job, but a new name has emerged as a potential candidate this afternoon.

And the West Ham fans will be very familiar indeed with him…

The Hammers co-owner surely has to make a change in the managerial department this summer.

Moyes’s position at the London Stadium is simply untenable right now, and his fractured relationship with the fans is way beyond repair.

A new name has emerged today as a potential replacement for the 60-year-old…

Sean Whetstone has claimed that Borussia Dortmund manager Edin Terzic is the kind of coach who could appeal to Tim Steidten.

And the Hammers insider suggests that the German is an option to replace Moyes:

Terzic joined West Ham as assistant to Slaven Bilic in 2015 having worked with him at Besiktas previously.

The 41-year-old was an integral part of the management setup which led West Ham to one of our best ever Premier League seasons in the memorable Farewell Boleyn campaign.

However, he left us when Bilic was sacked in 2017, and eventually took over as interim Borussia Dortmund manager in December 2020.

He led them to domestic cup success in May 2021, but wasn’t installed as the permanent manager there until a year later.

Terzic has been a huge success with Dortmund, and he nearly guided them to the Bundesliga title last term.

This season, he has led his team to the Champions League semi-finals. In my opinion, the 41-year-old would be a really interesting appointment for West Ham, if the board do decide to replace David Moyes this summer.
