Catch all the latest Tottenham news and updates, including the latest on Giovani Lo Celso, Ivan Perisic and Dani Olmo.

Ivan Perisic Tottenham loan performances

Former Tottenham star Ivan Perisic left the club in January to re-join Hajduk Split on a loan deal with a view to a permanent signing at the end of his contract. The 35-year-old came through the ranks of the Croatian side in 2000 up until 2006.

In making his return, Perisic was looking to help deliver a first league title for the club since 2005. However, with a knee injury delaying his debut, the winger’s move back to his boyhood club hasn’t quite gone to plan.

Hajduk Split suffered three defeats in Perisic’s first three games after joining from Tottenham, and now their title hopes seem unlikely to come true.

Giovani Lo Celso Tottenham transfer exit

Tottenham are preparing for a busy summer transfer window, which is likely to include a whole host of incomings and outgoings. One name in the current Spurs squad that has been linked with a potential exit is Giovani Lo Celso.

The midfielder has just one year remaining on his contract at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with only four appearances in the starting eleven in the Premier League this season. That brings about questions over his future, with possible suitors now circling a deal.

According to a report from TuttoJuve, Atletico Madrid have joined Juventus in their interest in Lo Celso. The Spanish giants are reportedly readying an offer for the summer transfer window, with a valuation decided on the midfielder.

Dani Olmo to Tottenham transfer

Tottenham transfer target Dani Olmo continues to be linked with a whole host of clubs ahead of the summer transfer window. The RB Leipzig star has impressed in Germany, often leading to reports surrounding a possible move.

A transfer switch hasn’t come about yet, but ahead of the summer market, there could be a move to Tottenham or elsewhere. With a £52million release clause inserted into his contract, teams may line up to trigger a deal.

Speaking to GiveMeSport about the interest, Fabrizio Romano has said there are “initial meetings” with the attacking midfielder and clubs across Europe. “There’s a chance [of Olmo making a transfer, but at the moment I’m told that he’s still in initial meetings with his agents around Europe.

“He’s also not in advanced negotiations or talks because he has a release clause in his contract worth around €60million (£52million), so the price is already there. We know that Leipzig don’t like to negotiate usually.

“You have to pay the clause or nothing, like what happened, for example, with Dominik Szoboszlai at Liverpool last summer. So, I think they’re already all well-informed about the situation of Olmo, but at the moment, I’m not aware of anything advanced in terms of contacts.”
