Ange Postecoglou could now offer ‘incredible’ Tottenham loanee chance to revive his Spurs career

Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou could now offer one of the returning loan players a chance to revive his career in north London.

The summer transfer window is going to provide Tottenham with the opportunity to fine tune their squad on the back of Ange Postecoglou‘s first season in charge.

A lot of games remain to be played for Spurs with some huge fixtures coming up over the next few weeks.

And those fixtures will determine whether the Lilywhites will be playing Champions League or Europa League football.

Aston Villa have now opened up a three point cushion on Spurs, but Postecoglou’s side have two games in hand.

The Australian’s main message has been about progression rather than putting a numerical target on their season.

And it seems one player who has spent the season away from Hotspur Way on loan could be offered the opportunity to showcase the skills he’s learnt out on loan.

Although the 22-year-old may have impressed this season in the Netherlands, his opportunity at Spurs may arise through the club’s expected struggles to meet the homegrown quota.

Tottenham could even hand Troy Parrott a new contract

The “incredible” Irish forward has enjoyed a positive spell away from Tottenham after some struggles out on loan over the years.

However, his time in the Eredivisie has been one that could revive his career at Tottenham with the Lilywhites still without an out and out striker.

And it is now claimed Tottenham hold a clause in Parrott’s contract that could extend his stay by a further year.
