TV star says 'ship sailed' as 'there's not much of a relationship' with co-star

Little People, Big World is one of TLC’s longest-running reality TV shows. Naturally, since its first-ever episode aired in 2006, things have changed a lot for the show’s family, The Roloffs. LPBW stars Zach and Matt Roloff clashed over the sale of Roloff Farms in season 23 and it seems their relationship hasn’t recovered since.

Little People, Big World season 25 is set to draw to a close with its tenth and final episode on April 23. A preview of what’s to come lifts the lid on where Zach and Matt stand these days. It seems divorced couple Matt and Amy Roloff get along the best out of their family members, despite being married for almost 30 years and going their separate ways.

Zach Roloff says ‘ship sailed’ with Matt

It’s no secret Matt and Zach felt some tension in their relationship following the Roloff Farms drama.

Part of the family’s farm was listed for sale two years ago. However, it was never sold and the listing was subsequently taken down.

Even though the farm still remains in Matt’s name, the disputes over how much he’d have sold the land to Zach for clearly caused lasting damage.

Speaking of his relationship with his father during season 25, Zach says the “ship has sailed.”

In an exclusive sneak peek from Entertainment Tonight, Zach adds: “There’s not much of a relationship, we’re just doing our own thing.”

‘No one’s holding grudges’

During Little People, Big World, Matt expresses his disappointment at Tori and Zach not attending Amy’s fundraiser.

He said: “I thought maybe at least Zach would come with Jackson.”

Although it seems the couple purposefully made other plans instead of going to their family’s event, Zach said in a confessional: “No one’s holding grudges, no one’s intentionally not going to the farm, there’s just no interest. the kids don’t ask…”

Time’s a healer

While it seems the family members are taking some time apart, and focusing on their own projects such as Zach and Tori’s Raising Heights podcast, the reality TV star did add how maybe, in time, things will change.

Reflecting on the current dynamic, Zach said: “Growing up on the farm we spent a lot of time outdoors and we definitely want that same experience for our kids. The farm was part of my life and it’s not going to be part of our kids’ lives the way it was mine.”

He added of his relationship with Matt: “Time might even it out, everything will be healed, it’ll just be different.”
