West Ham won't believe what Kalvin Phillips has done now after new faux pas

If West Ham were not already at the end of their tether with Kalvin Phillips they will be now after his latest faux pas.

West Ham could be forgiven for thinking they’d gone back in time and Jeremy Beadle is going to pop out and tell them Kalvin Phillips’ loan move has all been one big prank.

But unlike Beadle’s About, Phillips’ dismal West Ham spell is very real.

It certainly feels like another of Beadle’s shows, You’ve Been Framed, with Hammers boss David Moyes as the gullible fall guy.

The timeline of Phillips’ disastrous move to West Ham from Man City is so bad you almost couldn’t make it up.

A string of awful early performances from the Man City loan man saw him give the ball away leading to goals before he was then sent off in defeat at Forest.

Kalvin Phillips the walking West Ham disaster

Suspended, Phillips was then stuck on West Ham’s bench until a chance at redemption arose against Burnley at home. What could possibly go wrong against the Premier League’s whipping boys?

Phillips turned in another dreadful performance – along with most of his teammates – and was dragged off at half-time with West Ham 2-0 down. They rescued a draw in his absence.

Edson Alvarez’s suspension for three games in the league and Europe should have given Phillips the chance to try and redeem himself.

On 69 minutes of the first game of Alvarez’s suspension at Newcastle, Phillips came on for Michail Antonio with West Ham 3-1 up.

What happened next is now seen as the moment West Ham’s season capitulated.

Against a makeshift Newcastle side, who lost several more players mid-game due to injury, Phillips infuriated supporters by walking around the pitch as West Ham surrendered the lead to lose 4-3.

West Ham won’t believe what Phillips has done now

To rub salt in the wound Phillips was caught on camera after the game swearing at a West Ham fan who called him ‘useless’.

Phillips has been labelled among West Ham’s worst signings since Roberto.

The only silver lining for the east Londoners is that the Hammers do not have an obligation or option to buy the midfielder in the summer.

At Crystal Palace on Sunday Phillips came on as a second half substitute in a game West Ham embarrassingly lost 5-2.

We called on the Hammers to phone Man City and terminate Phillips’ loan after he was seen laughing and joking on the pitch with Palace’s Eberechi Eze without a care in the world.

Feels like he’s trolling West Ham with new faux pas

Right in full view of the dedicated away fans who had stayed to support their team’s pathetic efforts at Selhurst Park.

Well West Ham and their fans won’t believe what Phillips has done now after his latest faux pas.

Not content with showing supporters he really doesn’t give two hoots about West Ham after a hugely damaging defeat, Phillips’ social media activity has avoided any doubt.

After laughing and joking with Eze while some of his crestfallen teammates went over to the West Ham fans to offer their apologies, Phillips has now liked a video posted by Eze showing him destroying the Hammers.

The image below shows Phillips liked Eze’s West Ham demolition job compilation.

This is unbelievably bad from Phillips.

It feels like he is literally trolling West Ham and their fans at this point.

Read the room for goodness sake.

There is no excuse for this kind of oblivious behaviour.

It also comes amid unverified claims on another prominent football website that West Ham’s coaches have been shocked by his performances, lack of desire and attitude in training at Rush Green.

Whether those particular claims are accurate or not, his return to Man City can’t come soon enough.
