Primal Kitchen is recalling its avocado oil product due to defects in the packaging. Here's how to get a refund due to a breakage risk.

Primal Kitchen is recalling 2,060 cases of its avocado oil product due to defects in the packaging, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The glass may break, causing a safety hazard and some of the oil to spill, according to the FDA.

No illnesses or injuries have been reported in connection with this recall as of Tuesday.

The affected products were sold on the East Coast of the U.S., California and online across the country.

Primal Kitchen initiated the recall when the retailer “noticed that avocado oil had leaked in shipping containers,” according to the recall announcement.

The Primal Kitchen Avocado Oil 750-milliliter bottle has an individual package UPC of 8-5523200719-4 and a case UPC of 108552320071910000 with sell by dates between Aug. 19 and Aug. 21, 2025.

The company urges people to immediately stop using the product and discard it, or get a refund. To get your refund, contact Primal Kitchen Monday through Friday, at 1 (888) 774-6259.
