Since the track dropped along with all the others on The Tortured Poets Department, fans have been speculating Kim’s moves are in retaliation. Now, a latest post has Kim “looking unbothered” but fans aren’t buying it.
The Kardashians are famously said to get along with many of their A-List buddies including Ellen DeGeneres, Bella Hadid, Justin Beiber, and Kathy Hilton. Former reality star Todd Chrisley even said Khloe Kardashian was his spirit animal once. But, it seems in the world of showbiz, not everyone can be friends. In the case of Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian, they’re airing their long-standing feud, eight years after it began, this Spring.
Kim Kardashian’s ‘unbothered’ post
A late-night Instagram post from Kim has her fans asking in the comments: “What are you doing?” while others are labeling the reality TV star an “iconic” and “unbothered queen.”
Kim’s post includes photos of her looking across the camera casually smiling wearing a furry jacket and matching trousers with a bandeau-style top.
The mom of four flips her hair away from her face in the first shot as she clutches a stiletto handbag and her phone in the other hand.
The next snap sees Kim potentially mid eye roll as she’s turning to look back towards the camera. The photo also gives fans more of a glimpse of her outfit including the buckle detail on her top.
The third and final part of the slider shows even more details of her look as she dabs her lipgloss, and removes her coat.
Kim isn’t convincing her followers
Despite looking effortlessly glam in her latest caption-less Instagram post, many of Kim’s followers took to the comments to say they’re not convinced she’s “unbothered” about the Taylor Swift drama.
Some wrote how her efforts to appear “unphased” are actually backfiring, and she seems more “bothered” by all the recent Taylor Swift drama.
One person commented: “Aimee is putting in a lot of effort in acting like she is unbothered, which really means she’s bothered. Thank you Aimee for how you made her heal!”
Another said: “When you’re trying to act like you’re not bothered but you are!”
More shared eye-roll emojis and wrote: “Aimee tryna act unphased.”
Taylor has people ‘defending a Kardashian’
Since Taylor’s diss track hit the airwaves, everyone is talking about her 2016 beef with Kim.
But, according to a source via People, Kim is “over it” and thinks the singer should “move on.”
Some fans urge Kim to “apologize” on her Instagram post, but others say they’re “defending a Kardashian” these days.
Taking to a Reddit thread, one person agreed with Kim that so much time had passed since their feud: “I was in middle school when this beef started and i can almost legally drink now.”
Another said they didn’t think the song was a “good look” for Taylor, and more added: “I never thought there would be a time where Kim Kardashian said something and I’d be like ‘same’.”
However, many of Taylor’s fans argue the release of thanK you aIMee is a part of her “healing” process.
