'Doesn't have a weakness': Fraser Forster says one Tottenham player is actually so underrated; he's 'amazing'

Fraser Forster has named his Tottenham Hotspur teammate who is actually underrated, insisting that he does not have a single weakness in his game.

Spurs have been outstanding, particularly for the neutrals, for much of the season, with Ange Postecoglou’s side playing some of the best football in the Premier League.

It has been remarkable considering that Tottenham lost arguably their greatest ever player on the eve of the season, with Harry Kane departing for Bayern Munich.

But Postecoglou can still call upon a number of superb players who helped Tottenham set the pace in the early stages of the season.

Of course, the best of the lot is surely Heung-min Son, with the Spurs captain enjoying another brilliant campaign personally, with 15 goals and nine assists coming in the Premier League for the South Korean.

Son has had some quieter periods in North London, including last season, but he has understandably received so many plaudits during his time with the club.

Nevertheless, speaking on Fozcast, Fraser Forster suggested that the Tottenham captain probably still does not get the full credit he deserves.

“He’s an amazing player. I’d actually say he’s underrated,” he said.

“It’s different though, you would have seen it with players as well, you know when you train day-in, day-out with them and you see them in training and see what they do, but he’s such a good player. Left-foot, right-foot, literally doesn’t have a weakness.”

What Heung-min Son has done this season probably hasn’t been spoken about enough

It is probably fair to say that what Son has done during his time at Tottenham has actually been a lot more significant than many realise, with the 31-year-old being directly involved in 243 goals in 402 games for the club in all competitions.

That is a remarkable return for someone who has been moved around the forward line throughout his spell at Tottenham.

And he has done amazingly to help Tottenham move on from selling Kane in the summer. Obviously, they would prefer to still have the striker in the ranks, but Spurs’ future looks to be extremely bright while Son looks so influential in the Premier League.
