Zendaya ‘brings back Kylie Minogue’s fashion statement’ with latest look
The Hollywood star showed off her stunning figure in the white hooded dress, as she stepped out in New York City, paired with some cute white heels.
Zendaya, who is currently dating Tom Holland, stopped to sign autographs for fans, as she arrived at the city’s AMC Theatre.
The look is similar to that of Kylie Minogue’s in her iconic, Can’t Get You Out Of My Head video, released in 2001.
In the music video, the Australian singer stuns in an all-white jumpsuit, with two extreme slits up the legs. The low-cut number features a ‘hood’ just like Zendaya’s dress, and the two pull the similar looks off just as well as each other.
We’d love to see the two join up in a music video of some sort, but we think we may be waiting a long time for that one…
The 27-year-old’s latest look comes after a string of ‘tennis-themed’ looks. From a tennis ball dress to a pair of tennis ball shoes, there’s nothing the Spider-Man star hasn’t worn.
The star is ‘nervous’ to attend her first Met Gala in five years
Speaking of iconic fashion, the Met Gala will take place on 6 May, as the top A-List celebrities will dress up in their finest gear for one of the biggest nights of the year. This year, the theme for the Vogue event is A Garden in Time.
Zendaya’s last appearance was in 2019, and this year she’ll be serving as Met Gala co-chair, alongside Jennifer Lopez, Bad Bunny, and Chris Hemsworth. With her latest looks, there’s no one who deserves it more. But it doesn’t mean she isn’t a little nervous.
“Going up the steps is very daunting, and I haven’t been back for maybe four or five years,” she revealed on a recent appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark. “So this is, like, my first time back at the Met in quite a while.”
