TV star ditches tech job to launch female fashion app but co-star shuts CEO title down

Danielle Olivera’s female fashion app was the drive behind her leaving her former tech job. The developer, who appears on Summer House, isn’t convincing anyone though – including Paige.

Paige and Danielle haven’t seen eye-to-eye for several Summer House seasons. So when Danielle revealed she’s the CEO and founder of her app, Donne, her fellow cast member was doubtful.

Danielle Olivera’s app Donne

Danielle Olivera’s app, Donne, is a fashion-focused project that helps users “digitize” their wardrobe. She co-founded the app with her business partner, Jim, which is “designed for the everyday female.”

“I decided to quit my job in corporate fintech to start my own fashion app,” she said in an interview during the show. “This app is a make-or-break situation, so I’m scared out of my mind.”

She originally called the app Socialite but has since changed it. The app allows users to send outfits and lookbooks to friends, get daily styling recommendations and hire a professional to help with needs.

Inside Danielle’s former tech job

Danielle described herself as a product manager with a finance background. She left Summer House briefly after season 3, as she knew it would be difficult for her to balance her busy career with filming.

“I had a lot of work travel and a work schedule that was inflexible at the time,” she revealed. Explaining how her career in finance technology comes first, she often travelled for work and had a busy schedule.

She said, “If you know me, you know my career is what’s most important to me and something I won’t jeopardize.” Danielle also claimed filming Summer House is a “serious time commitment”.

Summer House star’s net worth

Danielle’s net worth is believed to be an estimated $1 million as of 2023, most of which comes from her several years working in the financial technology industry, but it doesn’t make her the richest.

Samantha Feher is only a new Summer House star, but has an estimated net worth of $5 million from her work as a content creator and owns a marketing agency for influencers called Feher Agency.

Danielle joined the show in its second season, however, she left after the third, before returning again. She was also a certified software product manager and Scrum master, overseeing project team members.

Despite not being a self-proclaimed CEO and founder, her co-star Paige DeSorbo is not convinced. She said, “CEO and founder. Of what? Literally of what?” – and fans are just as confused!
