Joao Felix and Edu Gaspar seriously impressed by one Arsenal player's performance v Tottenham

Arsenal’s title hopes carried on yesterday as they held on to see off Tottenham and former Chelsea man Joao Felix was impressed with one player.

The Gunners had to dig deep at the end and hold on as Tottenham mounted a late fightback.

Mikel Arteta’s side had some of their top stars to thank for being well ahead in the game in the first place as the likes of Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz both scored, while Declan Rice continued to produce from set-pieces to cause havoc.

Of course, the goal for Havertz continued what has been an excellent run of form for the German.

After scoring twice against Chelsea in midweek, Havertz once again stepped up to the occasion by planting a header past Vicario to make it 3-0 before half-time.

Naturally, Havertz was delighted with his own performance and he took to Instagram after the game to celebrate the win.

And in a show of appreciation to the German’s performance, former Chelsea loanee Joao Felix, along with a few others like Edu Gaspar, were quick down into the comments to show Havertz some love.

Kai Havertz is proving everyone wrong

There was a time this season when even the Arsenal fans wondered what had gone on with buying Havertz.

At times he looked lost, short of confidence and without a position in a team that very much had players who knew their roles well.

But since Christmas time, the German has took off and in the last month or two in particular, has been an absolute monster for Mikel Arteta.

Credit must go to the Arsenal boss really in terms of sticking with the former Chelsea man. He’s tried him in midfield at times but the move to being the number nine has been the making of Havertz really.

Some will still say Arsenal need a new striker this summer. But in Kai Havertz, they now have a man who can the business regardless and that will really please Edu and Arteta heading into the summer.
