Tottenham Hotspur need a win tonight as Ange Postecoglou looks to bounce back from two frustrating defeats in recent weeks.
A 4-0 thrashing at Newcastle United saw Tottenham turn in a dismal performance on the road.
Fans wanted a big reaction against Arsenal and whilst the performance was better, the result wasn’t.
Spurs lost 3-2 to the Gunners and now head to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea on Thursday night.
Ange Postecoglou can’t afford three straight defeats at this stage in the season and Spurs really need to find a result in West London.
Borussia Dortmund’s win over Paris Saint-Germain on Wendesday night means that the Premier League will have four – not five – Champions League spots for next season.
That means Tottenham can only secure Champions League action by displacing Aston Villa in fourth place and points are desperately needed.
Davinson Sanchez closes in on league title
One man who looks set to feature in the Champions League next season is defender Davinson Sanchez.
The Colombian centre back is top of the Turkish top flight having joined Galatasaray back in September.
Galatasaray have just four games left to go and have now pulled clear of rivals Fenerbahce.
Sanchez and co sit four points clear at the top of the table and have lost just once in 34 league games this season.
Three wins from the last four would secure the title for Galatasaray and Sanchez is on the verge of glory.
The 27-year-old lost out on the Eredivisie title to Feyenoord during his Ajax days, so his wait for a first European league title has been a long one.
Sanchez has been in and out of the Galatasaray team of late but he is now close to a title win and guaranteed Champions League action next season.
That will certainly leave Sanchez feeling that he made a sensible decision by making his move away and attempting to kickstart his career away from Tottenham.

Timing was strange but Sanchez deal made sense
Tottenham forked out an enormous £42million to land Sanchez from Ajax in 2017.
That was a huge investment but the early signs were strong as Sanchez impressed alongside Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen – two other former Ajax defenders.
Sanchez failed to really kick on though and was gradually phased out before Spurs sold him to Galatasaray for just £9million.
Sanchez clearly had no future at Tottenham but the timing looked a little strange at the time; Spurs cashed in back in September, after the English transfer market had closed.
That meant Tottenham couldn’t bring in a replacement for Sanchez and were left with Eric Dier as the only recognised cover for Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven.
Sure enough, a period on November saw Romero pick up a suspension and Van de Ven go down with injury.
That left Spurs exposed at the back and some questioned the timing of letting Sanchez go without bringing in a replacement.
Tottenham’s view was that Sanchez was in the final year of his contract and taking the money – even without being able to immediately replace him – was the better move.
Spurs were then able to bring in Radu Dragusin during the January transfer window, adding new depth to Postecoglou’s options.
The move allowed Sanchez to get his career back on track and brought some valuable cash in before he moved on for free.
Tottenham made the right call on this one and Sanchez will be delighted as he nears a title victory and a spot in Europe’s top club competition.
