Chelsea fans are all saying the same thing about Moises Caicedo after win vs Tottenham

Moises Caicedo has no doubt been under scrutiny since joining Chelsea, however his performances have been speaking for themselves in recent weeks.

Playing without midfield partner Enzo Fernandez after his surgery recently, the Ecuador international has finally started to show why the club were so desperate to sign him last summer.

Featuring alongside Conor Gallagher, the duo have shown a fantastic ability to win the ball back in the middle of the park, allowing those in front of them to flourish.

This was the case tonight against Tottenham, with them picking up a 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge in a massive game.

Goals from Trevoh Chalobah and Nicolas Jackson eitherside of half-time were enough for a reoslute Chelsea side, who performed extremely well in the face of a number of injury problems.

Caicedo was imperious last time out against Aston Villa, and showed more of the same tonight too.

Chelsea fans impressed by Moises Caicedo

This was noticed by Chelsea fans, who took to Twitter to share their praise for the 22-year-old after the game.

One user said: “Moises Caicedo is an absolute joke of a footballer btw. Will never get the credit he deserves because of his price tag but today and Villa he was undeniably world class. No PL midfielder has played as well in consecutive games as Caicedo has just done.”

Another added: “I can’t believe people were labeling Moisés Caicedo as a “flop.” Genuinely, one of the best players in the Premier League this season. As a Chelsea fan, I am BEYOND thankful.”

A third stated: “Moisés Caicedo. We see you. You won’t go under the radar, I promise.”

Another claimed: “Moises Caicedo. Another truly epic, energetic, dynamic and dominant performance. He is looking brilliant alongside Gallagher and Cucurella.”

Finally, one said: “Moises Caicedo appreciation tweet. Starting to look formidable with consistent masterclass performances.”

Caicedo is going to be a crucial member of the side for the coming games, with them very short for other options in the middle of the park.

Being joined by Gallagher, it feels as if the Blues have stumbled across one of the better duos in the Premier League right now, and they will be equally as important in the push for Europe.
