Arsenal maintained the pressure on Manchester City by beating Bournemouth 3-0 on Saturday.
This time last season, Arsenal fans were drowning in their sorrows because they had just handed the Premier League title to Pep Guardiola’s men.
And whilst destiny is, once again, in the hands of the current Treble-winners, as things stand, the title race will be going to the final day of the season.
One of the reasons for that is Arsenal doing their job against a very tricky and free-scoring Bournemouth team.
The Cherries are fifth in the form table when you count results from November onwards, so those three points and that clean sheet should very much be valued.
But all of it came with its controversy and big talking points, including for Bukayo Saka’s penalty.
Bournemouth goalkeeper Mark Travers was adjudged to have clipped and fouled Kai Havertz as he was running with the ball.
That was one of many big decisions that were made during the game and it left the opposition fans fuming.
Jamie O’Hara and Gabby Agbonlahor also shared their thoughts on the matter and how Havertz ‘dived’ to win the penalty, as they told talkSPORT.
Whilst O’Hara left rip at the in-form Arsenal man, the former Aston Villa striker, who would have been in that position many a time before, was more sympathetic towards the player.

“He buys the foul, he sucks the referee in, he gives a penalty, they go to VAR, and he leaves a foot in,” insisted an adamant O’Hara.
“There is contact because he has left his foot there, but he absolutely dived, so VAR can overrule that really. That is clear and obvious. He has dived. Yes, there is a little bit of contact, but we know what he is doing.”
Agbonlahor argued: “Of course, but the problem now is that Havertz knows he is going to get a pen. So, I blame the rules and where they are at now. If he knows he is going to get booked for diving, he doesn’t do that. He knows, ‘Leave my foot in, contact, it’s a penalty’. That’s the problem. So, if I am a player now, I am doing it.”

Whilst Arsenal fans will be praying that either Fulham or Tottenham do them a favour. They still have to get their own job done.
Two games remain – Manchester United away and then a final home clash against Everton.

Even though Erik ten Hag’s side have had a horrid season. You just know they will want to spoil Arsenal’s party.
They did it to Liverpool by knocking them out of the FA Cup and then recording a 2-2 draw against them in the Premier League.
And you can bet your bottom dollar they are going to want to repeat that.
