'Halo Infinite's new release date hasn't been decided yet
The highly anticipated game was originally meant to be released in December: just a few weeks after Microsoft launches their next-gen console, the Xbox Series X.
However, it was announced back in August that due to "development challenges", the title was being delayed until 2021.
Now developer 343 Industries' community director, Brian Jarrard, has said in a Twitter post that the company "haven't locked on [a] release date for Halo Infinite yet", and added that any release dates "you see on a retail site is just placeholder / speculation".
Meanwhile, it had previously been revealed main developers 343 Industries had enlisted the help of Certain Affinity to get the game finished.
