FTC asks social media and video streaming platforms for info on ads and personal data
The Federal Trade Commission has asked for information from all major social media and video streaming platforms on how they deal with personal data. The order - which was sent out on Monday (14.12.20) has requested relevant details from Facebook, WhatsApp, Snap, Amazon, Twitter, YouTube, Twitch, Reddit, Discord and TikTok owner ByteDance.
