Nebraska Huskers junior pitcher Jordy Bahl released a statement on her social media saying that she will miss the entire 2024 season due to an ACL injury. Bahl's injury happened in the third inning against Washington on Thursday night when her plant leg gave out from underneath her and she fell to the ground. Nebraska junior pitcher Jordy Bahl was named to USA Softball's Preseason Player of the Year Top 50 Watchlist on Wednesday. Bahl, a native of Papillion, Neb., won two national championships with Oklahoma and was a top 10 finalist for the award the past two seasons. This year marks the second consecutive year she has made the preseason list. In both years with the Sooners, Bahl was the Big 12 Pitcher of the Year and a First-Team All-American.
