Nebraska has their new athletic director. University of Nebraska Interim President Chris Kabourek announced Wednesday morning that Troy Dannen has been hired for the position. Dannen has ties to the Midwest with roots in Iowa. Dannen has served as the Director of Athletics at the University of Washington since October. Roughly 24 hours after the news was official that Trev Alberts was departing his post as Nebraska athletic director, an interim has been named. University of Nebraska Interim President Chris Kabourek has appointed Dennis Leblanc to serve as interim athletic director. Leblanc has been executive associate AD for academics since 2015.
