If Cowboys first-rounder Tyler Guyton wants to kick off his career as well as some of his predecessors at left tackle, the rookie has a lot of work ahead of him this summer. Adjusting to the pace of play and the dominant forces opposing him on the defensive line will be key, and he’s working with third-round pick Cooper Beebe to acclimate as best as he can. “Most definitely (we’re leaning on each other), it’s new for both of us,” Guyton told reporters last week. “We came from the same conference. I already knew who he was and we were pretty cool before this but now that we’re together, we’re p...

His communication has been excellent. He’s got that sh*...

Arkansas had a tumultuous journey before eventually landing John Calipari as its next men’s basketball head coach. In a recent story by CBS Sports’ Dennis Dodd, Tyson Foods chairman and Arkansas booster John Tyson pulled back the curtain on the Razorbacks’ extensive coaching search. “Tyson first called his coaching friend to ask if he’d speak to [Arkansas athletics director Hunter] Yurachek about vetting candidates,” Dodd wrote. “Yurachek called Calipari that night. At some point Yurachek cut to the chase and asked Calipari if he was interested. “‘In my judgment as a businessman, either you go...

The Dallas Cowboys potentially plugged two key starter holes with their first three picks in the 2024 NFL Draft, and they’re receiving a lot of credit for third-round selection Cooper Beebe. Though Beebe likely isn’t in line to challenge Tyler Smith or Zack Martin for guard reps this year, ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. and many others see the former Kansas State star starting for the Cowboys at center this year. Kiper included Beebe in his best 100 picks of the 2024 NFL Draft – ranking the selection his No. 88 favorite selection. He had him as the 63rd best prospect in the draft and the Cowboys managed...
