On3’s Chad Simmons reports Narbonne (Calif.) quarterback Jaden O’Neal will be at Oregon in late July. The 6-foot-3, 200-pounder will reportedly visit Oregon on July 27. As the Elite-11 finalizes its roster for its June 26-28 event in Los Angeles, a new invite was sent out today. And it was Oregon’s commit on the receiving end of the honor. Earlier today Lincoln (Calif.) quarterback Akili Smith Jr. was announced as a new addition to the Elite-11 finals. The 6-foot-5, 200-pounder was a participant at the Las Vegas regionals. Well Oregon will enter the B1G this season with some added schedule drama. It was just announced two of Oregon’s games will be on Friday night in Fox’s primetime window. This gives Oregon a chance at adding an extra day of rest following each game that week. More importantly this gives Oregon a chance to shine on a national stage. One of the top running backs in the country has set up his June official visits. And that includes a visit to Oregon among them. Mater Dei (Calif.) running back Jordon Davison will visit Oregon on June 14. It will be his third visit in the month of June. According to On3’s Chad Simmons, Davison will also visit Alabama on May 31, Michigan on June 7 and Ohio State on June 21 following the Oregon visit.
