Well we are in the ‘offseason’ for college football. At least for a couple of months. So as you can see the sites are filled with schedule rankings, head coach rankings, position rankings, power rankings. Just to name a few. I figured I’d throw my hat in the ring as well. I see a lot of really bad lists and frankly I think I can do better. So here goes. With Spring in the window and the transfer portal window mostly closed, here goes my power rankings of the B1G. Ohio State – Have to kick things off with the Buckeyes. They are really, really good and this might be Ryan Day’s year. Michigan wil...

Spring football has come and gone, just like that. And despite a few outliers, the bulk of the transfers have taken place, at least for most of the top schools around the country. Oregon snagged a pair of transfers in the Spring window while many others in the top ten range didn’t really see any movement one way or another. Which means we go into the dog days of Summer where we literally just count the days until football season. Thankfully we have recruiting to keep us occupied. There’s a lot of talk about Oregon and this roster. And rightfully so. It has as much talent as any roster Oregon h...

Last year Oregon was fortunate enough to have one of the best quarterbacks in the country leading its offense. While Bo Nix didn’t win the Heisman, he made the trip to New York as one of the four finalists. This year it would appear Oregon’s offense is in good hands once again. The Ducks went into the transfer portal looking for Nix’s successor and came up with Dillon Gabriel. The former Oklahoma starter entered the portal en route to his third college team. However this transfer brought him much closer to his hometown of Mililani (Hawaii) to finish his career. Oregon has a ton of returning pr...

Oregon women’s basketball coach Kelly Graves has been active in the transfer portal. But his latest commitment might be his biggest yet. Graves has secured a commitment from former North Carolina standout Deja Kelly. The 5-foot-8 guard was a four-year starter for the Tar Heels. Kelly announced three days ago via her social media account she would be entering the transfer portal. “I am forever indebted to the University of North Carolina, the women’s basketball program, and greater Chapel Hill community for your hospitality and four years of amazing memories together,” Kelly wrote, in part. “Wi...

Dan Lanning has managed to make this a massive Friday. The addition of four-star linebackerNasir Wyatt was welcome news but somehow Lanning has supercharged that news. Moments ago former Michigan State defensive line transfer Derrick Harmon committed to Oregon. The 6-foot-5, 350-pounder was the most coveted defensive lineman in the Spring transfer portal window. Harmon was also in the transfer portal this Winter too before electing to stay in East Lansing. Oregon doesn’t have many holes on its roster but one area most thought could be shored up was the interior of the defensive line. When Harm...

One of the Ducks top linebacker targets is set to come off the board today. It’s a chance for Oregon to create some momentum on the recruiting trail as we enter May.
