Beefsteak with tartar sauce

Ingredients for 4 people:

3 slices of toast
6 tablespoons milk
2 shallots
1 tablespoon butter
400 g ground beefsteak
1 egg (S)
2 tsp hot mustard
salt, pepper
2 tbsp. oil

For the sauce:

1 shallot
1 tablespoon butter
250 ml vegetable broth (instant)
50 ml cooking cream
1 tsp flour
4 radishes
1 bunch of parsley
1 tablespoon capers
salt, pepper

Preparation:

1. Remove the crusts from the toast, dice finely and mix with the milk. Peel shallots and finely dice. Heat butter. Fry shallots until translucent. Mix beefsteak mince with egg, mustard, toast, shallots, salt and pepper to a smooth dough. Knead into a smooth dough. Form meatballs with moistened hands. Heat oil in a pan and fry the meatballs for about 3 minutes on each side. Keep warm.

2. For the sauce, peel and finely dice the shallot. Heat butter in a small saucepan. Sauté shallot in it, dust with flour. Pour the broth and cream, simmer for about 3 minutes. Rinse, clean and finely dice radishes. Rinse parsley, shake dry and chop finely. Add radishes, parsley and capers to the sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve the beefsteaks together with the sauce.

Side dish tip: Roasted potatoes and green beans.
