Millionaire's propeller-shaped mansion overshadowed by $45m home on Netflix hit show

Dang Bodiratnangkura stole the show on Buying Beverly Hills last season. She tasked The Agency with the sale of her super unique propellor-shaped property. Given Mauricio Umanksy’s track record of “selling the most $100 million dollar homes in the country,” he had no trouble in getting her house on the market.

This March, Buying Beverly Hills is back on Netflix. Last year, fans got to meet Dang and learn all about The Agency’s long-time client. Beverly Hills-based realtor and Mau and Kyle Richards‘ daughter, Farrah Brittany Aldjufrie explained how they and Dang had “maintained the relationship over many years, nurturing and supporting each other’s businesses.”

Dang on Buying Beverly Hills

The final episode of Buying Beverly Hills season 1, The Next CEO, saw Farrah Brittany take a visit to Dang’s property.

The huge mansion featured 9 bedrooms and 15 bathrooms. It sprawled 18, 850 square feet, and was truly a sight to behold.

The senior agent’s screen time with the Orum owner and developer had fans in awe of the duo together.

Taking to a Reddit thread, one person wrote: “Her and Dang together was just professional style epitomized for me.”

During Buying Beverly Hills season 1 episode 10, Mauricio explains how he was surprised to be invited over to Dang’s place with Farrah, as he didn’t know what was in store.

The Agency founder said he’d worked with Dang for around 20 years working with her.

Despite her creation of a totally unique, propeller-shaped property, Mau commended her on its “architecture, warmth,” and added how it was one of his “favorites” in the city.

Showing the agents around her home, Dang said: “I want you to sell this tomorrow?” before later changing her time frame to “…tonight.”

Coming complete with a staircase shipped from Canada, Mau priced the property at $42 million. He and Farrah got straight to work arranging an open house.

Buying Beverly Hills season 2: Monocle

Dang’s mansion may have been the star of season 1. But, now Buying Beverly Hills season 2 is here and there’s a new show-stopping property in town.

According to its Agency listing, Monocle, a “gated retreat,” was built last year.

The 6-bed, 12-bath property is listed online for $45,000,000. It’s still for sale as Buying Beverly Hills season 2 plays out on Netflix.

Per The Agency, it’s located in “Holmby Hill— one of L.A.’s most exceptional, private neighborhoods.”
