'When you look': Graeme Souness makes claim about Tottenham Hotspur's stadium which Simon Jordan agrees with

Both Graeme Souness and Simon Jordan have now been making some interesting comments about Tottenham Hotspur’s new stadium.

Ange Postecoglou is the sixth Spurs boss to manage the club since the stadium opened, and will hope to be the first to win silverware at the ground.

The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium opened in early 2019 and has to be considered the best facilities in the entire Premier League.

And it will be Postecoglou’s responsibility to build a team that can do the ground justice.

Partly as a result of their stadium move, Tottenham are thought to be in a strong financial position right now, meaning they could invest heavily in the summer.

And it certainly wouldn’t be a surprise if Daniel Levy has spent a lot of the international break discussing transfer targets with Ange Postecoglou for the off-season.

That being said, both Graeme Souness and Simon Jordan have now been making some comments about Tottenham’s new stadium.

The pair were speaking on the ‘Simon & Souness’ podcast and said that Daniel Levy deserves a lot of credit for some decisions he’s made.

Graeme Souness and Simon Jordan think new Tottenham stadium is a gold mine

Souness was initially complimenting the stadium as the best in the world, to which Jordan raised an interesting point.

Souness began: “You see when you look at Spurs’ stadium now, I don’t know about you, but I can’t tell you a better stadium anywhere in the world.”

Jordan replied: “There isn’t. Anywhere in the world outside football as well.

“People will laugh and scoff at Daniel Levy for getting involved with F1 and this and that but the revenues they are about to generate out of that stadium are astronomical.

“They are getting 2.5 million a year going to Tottenham Hotspur’s stadium as a result of attendances but also other events.”

Of course, this will be music to the ears for Tottenham fans, who will hope a huge portion of that money will be directly invested into their playing staff.

That being said, Jeff Stelling did recently share what he’s heard in regards to the future of a player who’s been linked with a move to north London.

And whilst there will be teething problems along the way, as we recently saw at Fulham, the future is certainly bright for Tottenham.
