TV contestant's one hit wonder 'used against him' as he gets fired by top boss

Tre Lowe starred on The Apprentice until he was fired by Lord Sugar, but his music was “used against him” before he was sent home. He made a track called Show Me The Money over 20 years ago.

Similar to when Marcell kept saying he makes music on Love Island, The Apprentice star Tre couldn’t help but keep bringing up his track that quickly became a one-hit-wonder back in the day.

The Apprentice star Tre’s music hit

Tre Lowe has been fired from The Apprentice, but he often mentioned he makes music. His opposing team even played his song – which he made in 2001 – in their business video!

After his firing, the contestants partied to his song, Show Me The Money, at a boozy event. Tre is a producer and songwriter alongside his entrepreneurial ventures, with 337,791 monthly Spotify listeners.

Most notable for the platinum-selling sensation, Body Groove, a chart-topping masterpiece that has garnered 50 million streams and held a prominent position in the UK top ten for five consecutive weeks.

Show Me The Money ‘used against him’

Tre was fired on the penultimate episode of The Apprentice. Lord Sugar told him, “Tre, I’ve always said to people in this process that you will learn as you go along, and that includes me.”

“And I have learnt that you are a good bloke. Your business is not up my alley mate, and so it is with sincere regret, You’re Fired!” the BBC show boss added, before bringing up Tre’s music.

Lord Sugar told him, “You made a song called Show me the money. Where’s the money?” Tre responded: “Oh god, my own song being used against me.” Lord Sugar replied, “I don’t want you to sing it.”

Tre and The Architechs band

Tre made a song with Architechs x Crystxl King featuring Lil Probz, called Running on the Spot, as well as another track, Bodygroove, with Wyles and Architechs x Crystxl King.

He is a sole member of the award-winning band Architechs. They have 20 million streams of the 2021 remix of Body Groove, in honour of his brother, and band co-founder, Ashley, who passed away in 2020.

Tre has delivered remixes for industry giants such as Usher, Justin Timberlake, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Brandy & Monica, Beanie Man, and many other notable artists.
