Report names the blockbuster signing Amorim wants to bring along with him to West Ham

If Ruben Amorim does indeed take over from David Moyes at West Ham, he apparently has a truly sensational signing lined up for us.

Ruben Amorim is West Ham United’s top target to replace David Moyes it seems, and we’re believed to be in pole position in the race to secure his signature.

The 39-year-old is an incredibly gifted young manager, and it could be argued that he’s actually the most exciting coach on the continent right now.

David Sullivan must be really keen on the Portuguese, with a report claiming that the Hammers owner is prepared to meet his £17 million release clause – unheard of if you know how Sully operates!

Amorim would be a special appointment for West Ham. I’m convinced that he’d be able to take us to the next level.

He would definitely get this team playing some incredibly exciting football – the type that’s never been witnessed before at the London Stadium.

And now it seems as though there could be some even more exciting news for the Hammers fans to process…

Blockbuster signing Ruben Amorim wants to bring to West Ham

With Moyes looking like he’s finished at the London Stadium, it’s really exciting to think what the future may hold for us.

If we somehow manage to snare Amorim, we could be on to something very special indeed.

Portuguese outlet Record claims that if Amorim is named as the new West Ham boss, he will try to bring Pedro Goncalves along with him – a player who we’ve been linked with incessantly over the past few months.

What a spectacular signing he would be for the Hammers.

He has been in absolutely sensational form for Sporting so far this season, with 18 goals and 16 assists in 44 games to his name (Transfermarkt).

The right-footed attacker can play on either wing or in the number 10 position, and he would add real quality and genuine variety to our play inside the final third.

Goncalves would take the Hammers to another level entirely in my opinion. Is it realistic to think that we could sign him though? Well, if Amorim gets the West Ham job, it could well be on.

Exciting times ahead indeed.
