Selena Gomez’s boyfriend has spoken out about their relationship for the first time, admitting he was ‘Clueless’ they were in love, which is odd for someone who’s one of the two people dating.
Benny Blanco has implied he and the singer’s relationship is just like Josh Lucas and Cher Horowitz from Clueless, but without the script. Selena Gomez‘s boyfriend has spoken to WSJ Magazine, detailing juicy gossip about their dating life so far. The celebrity couple had been seeing each other for six months before the Disney star confirmed they were together on Instagram.

The Eastside star says he unknowingly fell in love with Selena in a moment fit for a movie.
The 36-year-old said: “I was the last one to know.
“It’s crazy how your partner could just be sitting there the whole time, right in front of your eyes, and you don’t even notice, and then you have that Clueless moment where you’re like, ‘Wait, I’m in love.'”
However, the celebrity couple does appear to be going from strength to strength. But, one piece of dating advice for Selena Gomez’s boyfriend Benny is to listen to his feelings more, or it could end up becoming a one-sided relationship.
The pair first worked together in 2019, for I Can’t Get Enough, and then again in the summer of 2023. But if it took him a while to realize how he felt about the music star, hopefully Selena wasn’t sitting there left wondering.
In August last year, they worked together on the track Single Soon, with the celebrity confirming their connection in December. She showed off a ‘B’ ring and said he was the ‘best thing that’s ever happened to me’ in an Instagram comment.

Benny Blanco isn’t the only one feeling the love right now, as Selena Gomez feels the same way about her boyfriend.
She told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe in February: “Without getting into too much detail, I think it’s just really important to meet someone that respects you.
“And it’s really nice to also lean on someone who understands the world that I live in.
“But I’d have to say overall it’s the safest that I feel, and it’s been really lovely, and I’ve only grown through it, so it’s awesome”.
Their first public appearance together was at sporting events and the Golden Globes. Selena is also never shy from sharing steamy images of the pair from their date nights.
It comes after her fans had a brutal way of describing the pair after they attended the Knicks game this week.
