Ubisoft insists they are still 'fully committed' to finishing 'Skull and Bones'

Ubisoft insists they are still "fully committed" to finishing 'Skull and Bones'.

The game was first announced back in 2017, and was originally intended to be released in late 2018. However, the pirate game has been delayed several times.

Now the game's creative director, Elisabeth Pellen, has posted a letter on the Ubisoft website, in which she discusses the game's delayed release.

She revealed that "production on Skull & Bones has been in full swing with a new vision", and that the developers "are fully committed to launching the game".

She also explained that the game was delayed since the team behind Ubisoft's upcoming title "dreamt something bigger for Skull & Bones, and these ambitions naturally came with bigger challenges."

The game was being developed by Ubisoft Singapore, but it has since been expanded to include teams in "Ubisoft Berlin, Chengdu, Kiev, Paris and the Philippines".

Pellen also teased that fans will "see more of Skull & Bones" next year: but a specific date for when this will happen has not been announced yet.
