Apple to add Shazam to IPhone's control panel

Apple is adding Shazam to iPhone's control panel.

The tech giant acquired the app, which listens to songs to identify the artist and track's title back in 2017.

And MacRumors reports that in the latest beta of iOS 14.2, Shazam has been added to the iOS control center as a shortcut you can access by swiping down or up (depending on which model) from the top right of the iPhone.

As for when to expect the all-new iPhone 12, Apple previously announced that it will be delayed by a month to October, due to Covid-19 production setbacks

During an investors meeting on July 30, Apple executive Luca Maestri said: "Last year we started selling new iPhones in late September.

"This year we expect supply to be available a few weeks later."

It's expected that there will be four versions of the iPhone 12 released, including their first 5G-ready device.
