'No Man's Sky's Origins update 'dramatically expands' the game

'No Man's Sky's Origins update "dramatically expands" the game.

The title's most recent update recently went live, and in the patch notes on the official 'No Man's Sky' website, developer Hello Games have stated that the Origins update "dramatically expands the universe of No Man's Sky", and allows players to "explore a stranger, richer and more varied universe".

As part of the update, new planets have been added to the game, which means gamers have "millions of untouched new worlds to explore" which feature "more dramatic, awe-inspiring scenery than ever before", plus new stars have also been added to the title.

Alongside the new planets, Hello Games has stated that there is "richer diversity" in the game now because "a huge range of never-before seen planetary flora and curiosities have been poured into the galaxy".

The cloud rendering quality in the game has also been improved, and there is now more variety to the weather: instead of the weather on a planet being the same all over, the weather will vary in different areas on the planet.

The different types of weather also come with different benefits and disadvantages.

The huge update has added several other things to the game, including new items, enhanced terrain rendering, changes to the menus and interfaces, and the addition of wild robots, and that's just naming a few!
