MLB Draft: Two Huskers Selected on Day 1
An historic night for Nebraska baseball at the Major League Baseball Draft. Shortstop Brice Matthews and second basemen Max Anderson both heard their names called. This is the first time Nebraska has had two players drafted before the third round since Darin Erstad and Alvie Shepherd were both selected in the first round in 1995. Matthews was taken No. 28 overall by the Houston Astros.
