A stunning timelapse video shows a volcano in southwestern Iceland erupting with the Northern lights accompanying it. The volcano has been sending lava towards the nearby fishing town of Grindavik, about 50 kilometres southwest of Reykjavik, Iceland’s capital. Iceland, which sits above a volcanic hot spot in the North Atlantic, sees regular eruptions and is highly experienced at dealing with them.
