Medium's 'spooky' prediction for millionaire TV stars' marriage came true, say fans

Buying Beverly Hills is back on Netflix this March and viewers will get to see more of Mauricio Umansky and Kyle Richards’ marriage breakdown as they binge the 10 episodes. The news of Mauricio and Kyle’s separation came as a huge shock to their fans, but medium Allison Dubois seemed to have all the information about the couple over a decade ago.

Mau and Kyle Richards rose to fame on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills 14 years ago. And, during the Bravo show’s first-ever season, it was serving all kinds of iconic scenes – including the infamous “dinner party from hell.” This was where Allison let loose on her predictions about the reality stars’ marriage.

Allison Dubois makes Kyle and Mauricio ‘prediction’

While attending the ‘dinner party from hell,’ Allison Dubois had a prediction for Kyle who said she “didn’t care” about whether it would be “irritating” to her.

Given the green light, medium Allison goes right ahead and asks Kyle if she’s “been married twice.”

She’s correct and then proceeds to say “that’s good news.”

Allison continues: “He will never emotionally fulfill you, know that.”

She adds: “…but you will stay with him… as soon as the kids are bigger, you’ll have nothing in common.”

Medium causes mayhem

As if tensions weren’t high enough at the dinner party, Allison throwing in her prediction about Mau didn’t just rub Kyle up the wrong way, but the rest of the ladies, too.

Faye Resnick, Camille Grammer, Taylor Armstrong and more OG cast members seemed outraged by the medium’s words.

Kyle was warned Allison might bring up things “people don’t want to hear,” but at the time the mom-of-four brushed the prediction off.

Fans say prediction was ‘spooky’

Season 1 episode 9 was one that went down in RHOBH history and now it seems fans are casting their minds back to the memorable moment.

As Kyle and Mau’s separation plays out Buying Beverly Hills, details of their relationship are finally coming to light.

Speaking on his Netflix show, it seemed like the medium’s words came back to haunt Mau.

The Agency founder said: “We’ve been parenting since I was 25 years old and now here we are 27 years later and here we are trying to learn how to have a relationship without kids. That’s very difficult.”
