Netflix star ends up in 'showdown' with boss over 'rudeness' towards daughters

Michelle Schwartz is coming in hot with ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ vibes this March as she attempts to school The Agency’s Alexia Umansky. The Buying Beverly Hills star describes herself as “bold” but she’s given a rude awakening later in the season when Mauricio Umansky talks “learning how to hold your tongue.”

Real estate agent and reality TV star Michelle explains her thoughts on how The Agency’s employees should “earn their keep, earn their success, and earn their spot at the table” in season 2. The Buying Beverly Hills star makes no bones about telling her boss she feels “overlooked,” before being told “putting down his kids” is not a good look.

Meet The Agency’s Michelle Schwartz

Michelle Schwartz is The Agency’s Managing Partner for the company’s Valley offices.

She hails from Beverly Hills and is one of the OGs within Mau’s family business.

The Netflix star is married and has two sons named Ethan and Asher.

Per Michelle’s Agency bio, she’s “deeply connected to her Mexican heritage, Michelle’s multifaceted persona enriches every aspect of her professional and personal endeavors.”

Mau and Michelle have a serious talk

It turns out the Buying Beverly Hills drama doesn’t stop at Mauricio’s marriage or romances within the group.

Longterm Agency employee, Michelle, sits down with Mau for a “serious” chat during season 2.

After speaking with his daughters in Aspen, he explains how a “conversation came up” about some things Michelle had said.

Michelle admitted “some words she used” were “not the most eloquent.” Mau replied: “You said you girls cannot go into a room of suits and command the room.”

She said: “Alexia thought that meant standing in front of agents and having them listen to her. I mean walking into a room of attorneys… professionals.”

Mauricio jumped to his 27-year-old daughter’s defense, and said Alexia “isn’t claiming she’s prepared to walk into a room right now and take over the business today and command a room full of attorneys.”

He added: “By the way, I don’t know if you’re ready to do that.”

Mau added how Michelle said that if he “handed over the business to his girls, it would be business suicide.”

However, she apologized and said she wished she hadn’t used “that word.”

She wants to be ‘the next Mau’

Michelle is dubbed “rude” by Sophia Umansky in episode 8. Then, Farrah Brittany suggests she’s “tearing other women down” by trying to “get a seat at the table.”

The Netflix star made it clear she “wants to be the next Mauricio” and made no apology in her suggestion of wanting to “take over.”

She was called “conniving, and thirsty” by Farrah in a face-off. But, Michelle added she’s “not putting down women in business.”

Michelle added how she wasn’t going to “be soft” and felt the girls could do with some “tough love.”

In a Twitter thread, fans are in agreement over Michelle being a “bulldozer,” with many sharing the opinion they don’t think CEOs get to the top behaving the way she did.
